Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive Istanbul .

Welcome to Europe .Yup It is the gateway of Europe. Upon arrival at the IST airport Istanbul, clear the immigration formalities and get transferred to the hotel. The day is free at leisure.
Overnight stay in Istanbul.
Meals : None.

Day 2: Istanbul — Gallipoli — Çanakkale  After a delicious breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel lobby at Istanbul, Sultanahmet district.. Settle into your air-conditioned coach as you drive to the Gallipoli Peninsula, the scene of one of World War I’s deadliest campaigns. In 1915, the Allies attacked Gallipoli to capture Constantinople, now Istanbul, in a bid to help struggling Russian forces. The failed mission is believed to have cost 100,000 lives and is commemorated by memorials at the major battle sites. Visit the Lone Pine Australian Memorial and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Cemetery and Memorial, and see Anzac Cove, the Nek and Johnston’s Jolly. In the evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel in nearby Çanakkale.

 Day 3: Çanakkale —Troy — Kusadasi  After breakfast, head to the site of ancient Troy, famed as the location of the Trojan War in the 2nd century BC, as described in Greek mythology and in the epic poem, Iliad, by Homer. Take a fascinating guided tour of the UNESCO-listed remains and view the replica Trojan horse, as your guide reveals how the war was sparked by the love of the Trojan prince, Paris, for Zeus’ daughter, Helen. After lunch (own expense), continue to Bergama Acropolis (Pergamum Acropolis), an ensemble of theaters, temples and palaces that once made up a thriving, ancient Greek capital. Day 4: Kusadasi — Ephesus — Kusadasi : Following breakfast, make your way to Ephesus, probably Europe’s best-preserved Greco-Roman city. View the site of the now long-crumbled Temple of Artemis, and then walk around the partially rebuilt streets of Ephesus itself. Wonder at the extraordinary Library of Celsus and follow in the footsteps of the long-ago residents around the columned streets, shops and theater. Enjoy a break for lunch (own expense) and join your guide for a visit to the former Greek village of Şirince, a charming 19th-century settlement of traditional houses that’s famed for its wines. After a visit to a carpet-weaving workshop, return to your Kusadasi hotel.

Day 5: Kusadasi — Pamukkale and Hierapolis After breakfast, visit one of Kusadasi’s renowned leather factories to see some of the area’s beautiful, handmade leather goods. Turkey is a leading producer of leatherware, and the factory showcases some of Kusadasi’s finest leather products, such as bags, sandals and purses. Browse the finely sewn, handcrafted goods and perhaps buy some as souvenirs or gifts. Following lunch (own expense), drive to Pamukkale to admire its cotton-candy-like, calcified rock terraces, dotted with milky turquoise pools. Wander over to the neighboring archaeological gem of Hierapolis, a UNESCO-listed cluster of ruins dating from the 2nd-century BC. Seize the chance to swim in the city’s hot springs once used by toga-clad Romans. Waft through the reputedly therapeutic waters, taking care not to bump into the submerged Roman pillars that still stand in the pools.

Day 6: Pamukkale — Silk Road — Konya — Cappadocia :Following breakfast at your hotel, relish the views as you trace a fascinating stretch of road that was once the ancient Silk Road, the aeons-old route once followed by caravan trails between Anatolia’s silk-making regions. Nowadays, the most prominent reminders of the caravans that passed along here are the kervansarays (caravan palaces) along the way. Visit one of the best preserved — Sultanhani Caravanserai — and stop in the town of Konya for lunch (own expense). Afterward, visit the town’s Mevlana Museum, dedicated to the Muslim poet Mevla Celaddiini-Rum. On arrival in Cappadocia, check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner. Alternatively, choose to attend an optional folklore evening (own expense) featuring live belly dancing, folk music and unlimited drinks.

Day 7: Cappadocia — Göreme Open-Air Museum — Underground City : After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the surreally beautiful landscapes of Cappadocia, dotted with bizarre fairy chimneys, strange rock formations and cave houses. Meet your guide and visit the awe-inspiring Göreme Open-Air Museum — a collection of rock churches and monasteries carved and decorated in Byzantine times. After lunch (own expense) in Göreme, drive through a valley crowded with Cappadocia’s famous fairy chimneys and other weird and wonderful rock pinnacles, cliffs and peaks. Then, explore Kaymaklı Underground City: descending into a maze of once-inhabited subterranean passages, chambers and cellars. Return to your Cappadocia hotel in the evening and enjoy dinner.

Day 8: Cappadocia – Ankara – Istanbul : Check out of your hotel after breakfast, and board your coach to Ankara, Turkey’s vibrant capital. Enjoy lunch (own expense) in the city and head inside Anıtkabir — the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey. Browse the interesting Atatürk memorabilia inside the museum to learn about this revered and all-powerful dictator. Later, drive back to Istanbul at your Sultanahmet hotel.

Is Turkey Visa required for Indian ?

Diplomatic passport holders are exempt from visa for their travels to Turkey up to 90 days. Ordinary, Special and Service passport holders are required to have visa to enter Turkey. Ordinary, Special and Service passport holders with a valid Schengen members or USA, UK, Ireland visa or residence permit may get their single entry e-Visas valid for one month via the website www.evisa.gov.tr, provided that they meet certain conditions.

Turkish eVisa for Indian people requires the Visa/Residence Permit from Schengen Area, Ireland, U.K. or U.S. and a return ticket.

If the applicant has his own business/partner/proprieter/director,please provide incorporation certificate/memorandum of association/partnership deed/proprietorship proof and applicants’s name should be mentioned. Original Notary and Mantralaya/MEA attestation needs to be done for each applicant irrespective of whether the applicant is travelling in a group or not (for Mumbai and its satellites).
    5. Last 3 months personal bank statement in original or copies attested by bank(with original stamp and sign) and with sufficient funds(1 Lac and above)
    6. For applicants who are employed,should provide salary account and salary slips(for the last three months with original stamp and sign) as mandatory documents .

(Only registered leave and license agreement copy and it needs to be notorised and attested from the Mantralaya)

After,the consulate verifies the documents submitted by the applicant, the consulate holds the right to ask for additional documents depending on the case if required.

Applicants from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Orissa who wish to travel to Turkey need to submit the below documents;

  1. Original passport (with at least 6 months validity; and at least two empty pages)
    • Previous passport needs to be submitted if current passport is issued after 2015
  2. Visa Application form filled and signed
  3. copy of your passport’s data page (A4 size copy)

  6. For Minors:
    • If travelling accompanied/unaccompanied by parents , then 100 rs stamp paper with notary signed by both the parents needs to be provided

  7. Leave letter from the company stating your designation, period of work, salary, Purpose of visit and duration of travel (if employed)

      2. If the applicant has his own business/partner/proprieter/director,please provide incorporation certificate/memorandum of association/partnership deed/proprietorship proof and applicants’s name should be mentioned. Original Notary needs to be done for each applicant irrespective of whether the applicant is travelling in a group or not.
    • Company profile on company letter head with seal and signature is mandatory
    • Income tax returns (ITR) for last three years.
    • Personal bank statement of last Six months with Original Bank Seal and with sufficient funds (1 Lac and above)
  12. Proof of civil status: marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, ration card if applicable
  13. 2 Photograph according to biometric specifications, not older than 6 months (Photo Specifications – size 2.5 Inches x 2.5 Inches, Full face, front view, eyes open, white background, natural expression, Height of the head between 25-35mm)
  14. Authorization letter from the applicant incase application is submitted by Travel Agent along with Photo ID of travel agent.
  15. If company  incentive group : Company covering letter on business letterhead  with entire applicant name list with MEA attestation needs to be  submitted.

Note: Additional documents needs to be submitted, if requested by the Turkey Consulate.

Terms and Conditions Rates are applicable for a minimum of 02 passengers traveling together Rates are not applicable during exhibitions, conventions and special events. Surcharges shall apply and shall be determined at the time of booking Standard check in time is at 1400 hours & check out time is 1200 hours From 2300 hours – 0600 hours, private arrival / departure transfers shall be applicable with an additional charges.For two or more families travelling together rooms cannot be guaranteed side by side or on the same floor as room share allotted depending upon check out of guests. Any meals en route will be provided at the best possible local restaurant will be vegetarian/Non-vegetarian.(If mentioned in the itinerary).Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal.

Hullor Tours & Travels reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Mature events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels /flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.It is mandatory for all guests to carry valid photo ID’s (Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card). PAN Card is not accepted at many places as a valid photo Id. Please note that once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail as well as an SMS on your registered mobile number confirming your booking. Hullor Tours & Travels will not bear any liability for the name change fee, if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of bookingPlease note that if your package includes a flight which is a low-cost carrier (Air Asia, Scoot Airlines, Air Arabia, Jetstar, Fly Dubai, Thai AirAsia, Air India Express, Tiger Airways etc.) then baggage will not be included in the package. Baggage can be added as per your requirement at an additional cost depending on the airlines and destination. Our Travel Expert will attempt to get in touch with you within 24-hours after the booking has been confirmed for baggage addition please ensure that baggage requirement are given to our Travel Expert latest by 15 days before the date of departure HOTELThere will be no refund underutilized services. Per person, prices are quoted on twin-share basis (2 persons sharing a room). Maximum of 2 adults + 02 Child are allowed in one room. The third adult of the room shall be provided as per requirement. In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of a similar standard. Check-in and check-out times at hotels would be as per hotel policiesCertain hotels abroad may ask for a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out subject to the hotel’s policySightseeing Activities/TransfersPlease note that ‘Day at Leisure’ essentially implies that no sightseeing activities have been included for that dayKindly be on time for your activities, tours and transfers.
